Important Information Regarding the Centene Transaction

We are pleased to announce that all necessary regulatory approvals have been received for Fidelis Care to become part of the Centene family of health plans effective July 1, 2018.

Fidelis Care Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, Health and Recovery Plan (HARP), and Managed Long Term Care members have been notified.  Most importantly, there is nothing for members to do to keep their health insurance coverage with Fidelis Care.  Members will continue to use their Fidelis Care member ID card, have the same benefits, see their same health care providers, and work with the same Fidelis Care Representatives they know and trust.

The Fidelis Care name and mission will remain, and our leadership team and employees will continue to work with our providers, members, and community partners across the State.

As we announced last September, the transaction with Centene is the result of a lengthy, comprehensive review of strategic options by our Board of Directors, in partnership with executive leaders, to determine how we could best continue our mission and position to meet the health care needs of our members and your patients - today and in the future.  Our shared goal is to improve the health care experience not only for members, but also for providers.
